2019 Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival – Media Preview Event

It’s here! I repeat…it’s here! The festival that brings forth every plant lover’s inhibitions and gives Edward Scissor Hands a run for his money when it comes to a neatly trimmed tree shrub. Yes, Ladies & Gents, I’m talking about Disney’s annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival…and it has officially arrived here in Central Florida once again from March 6th to June 3rd, and I’m giving you an inside scoop on what to expect during this year’s festivities.

Just recently, I was invited to a private media preview and showcase of the spectacular designs and merchandise that are soon to hit Epcot this year for it’s Flower & Garden Festival.

As I entered Disney’s showroom, I was instantly engulfed by walls completely covered in beautiful flowers and pedals. Disney characters were skillfully crafted out of leaves and tree vines—like this neat sculpture of Mickey Mouse himself!

Once we finished gawking at the beautiful garden-like designs, the media preview began. The showroom was filed with delicious bites from multiple food vendors within Central Florida.

Merchandise that would most likely be up for sale during Disney’s Flower & Garden Festival was on display for our eyes to ponder upon. One of my favorite pieces of merchandise was this rather cool sippy cup that I was able to actually take home as a gift—I’m obsessed with it now!

This year at Epcot guest can expect a heavily decorated theme-park with flower blooms, flower beds, fixtures and floral masterpieces spread all throughout the entire park. The glorious topiaries and garden displays have always been the festival’s main attention grabber—and with great reason!

Other than the mesmerizing garden displays, guest can enjoy a plethora of events and new Outdoor Kitchens as well, such as The Flavor Full Kitchen hosted by AdventHealth, Trowel & Trellis Hosted by Impossible Foods, and Arbor at The Gardeners Terrace. And for the clubbers who like to indulge in the nightlife, this year at Flower & Garden visitors can enjoy the Garden rocks Concrete Series as well, which also can be paired with the Garden Rock’s dining package.
