Sixty Vines Media Preview

With the entire world under an international pandemic, it would only be right to reminisce back to the good’ol times here in Central Florida. Just a few weeks ago I went to a rather spectacular media event for a new and improved restaurant in the Winter Park area called Sixty Vines.

Not only is Winter Park’s newest restaurant in such a prominent area in the city of Orlando, but the interior design is breathtaking as well. This wine country-inspired restaurant is extremely spacious and even romantic under the right moonlight. As I entered through the Sixty Vine’s doubled-door entrance, I quickly greeted their amazing team and staff before pilling my plate with tasty hors d’oeuvres and desserts.

An array of small and large plates were available for guests to taste and experience, while many of the restaurant’s seasonal dishes and cocktails were being served as well. Sixty Vines has a unique atmosphere which includes an open kitchen so patrons can wine & dine while simultaneously watching their food get prepared by top-tier chefs.

The enclosed greenhouse patio provides visitors with a nature-like feel while sipping down some of the restaurant’s exquisite wines, and a full bar provides a casual feel to this exceptionally elegant restaurant. Some of my favorite dishes included the grilled cauliflower, bacon wrapped dates, Orecchiette Primavera and lastly—the incomparable and delicious—Margherita pizza…because who doesn’t love a good’ol Margherita pizza!

Although Sixty Vines and many other restaurants have closed down their in-house dinning, they’re still offering take out orders for pick up, so make sure to swing by Sixty Vines to try their newest pick up menu at your earliest convenience! – David Plowden, David’s Manor.

As well, use Orlando Weekly’s Good To-Go Orlando takeout directory to find local restaurants that offer take-out orders, including one of my favorite steakhouses in the big O, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse. Del Friscos is currently offering luxury curbside order pick up where customers can pick up their orders without having to leave their vehicles, all while still remaining 6-feet away from anyone.
