It’s the best time of the year, meaning Christmas. This year’s Christmas was just like any other. And when I say that I mean procrastination. Yes, I said it, procrastination. My household is filled with procrasinators. Why? Why, because the picture that your are viewing, the one with the ladder. Yes, that was on Christmas Eve. Yes, the day before Christmas. Now I understand that we are all very busy in our day-to-day lives, but this was just crossing the line. We put our tree up on Christmas Eve and attempted to decorate it enough just in time for 6am to hit, the time when everyone wakes up and begins to open  their presents. Some households wait until 12am, however we just wait until the next morning. Though our holiday spirit was a bit damper, due to the fact that we didn’t have any time to decorate. We actually pulled it all together, and I must say the tree came out beautiful, in my opinion. Yes, I said in my opinion because many of my friends thought it was a bit naked, which it was, but I still loved it. We opened our presents on Christmas morning, ate some overly cooked food, and had a wonderful day as always. Christmas will continue to always be my favorite holiday. Though as I get older I drift more and more away from believing that Santa Clause is real. – David Plowden, Mods Manor
