Guy is his name, Chicken is his game. The famous Guy Fieri has opened up a new restaurant in the heart of Disney Springs, and it just might convert all of those meat-lovers to chicken fanatics. Chicken Guy, a restaurant that boast a plethora of chicken entrees and custom-made sauces, recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony with it’s owner Guy Fieri as its special celebrity guest. Tourists hoarded into the restaurant to get a chance to take selfies and snaps with the celeb, and media executives were on the scene covering the event from beginning to end. Fieri, who is a chef, reality star and restaurant owner ecstatically smiled as he snipped the ribbons to his new restaurant and business venture. Guy Fieri isn’t a new-comer when it comes to owning restaurant establishments. Fieri owns various restaurants across the country, including one in the real-estate haven Manhattan, called Guy’s American Kitchen & Grill. One aspect of the restaurant that I found rather intriguing was the fact that all of their sauces were custom made. 22 in-house sauces were on display for guests to choose from. The restaurant even turned it up a notch and creatively decided to have a Sauce Slinger wonder the restaurant in case guests wanted to take a sample of one of their 22 sauces or needed a sauce refill. Yes, you read that right…the “Sauce Slinger.” Awesome right! I found it to be quite unique as it was something I hadn’t seen in a restaurant before. After taking in the exciting scenery, I finally decided to order one of their entrees. My choice was the antibiotic-free chicken tenders with a Cinnamon Apple shake. Yum! The menu obviously contained multiple choices of chicken meals, but it also provided its guest with other food options as well, such as a kids’ menu, frozen treat options and even a variety of salad bowls for the healthy mavens. Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy restaurant is now open in Disney Springs. And listen to me when I say, if you weren’t a chicken lover before, you will be now. – David’s Manor, David Plowden.
